Special Sakura shines at G1 level!
What a performance! Our special young filly showed a massive amount of heart yesterday in the NZ Thoroughbred Breeders' Stakes to secure an incredibly impressive 2nd place in her very first G1 appearance.
She is truly living up to her name! A massive congratulations to all of her connections. We are absolutely thrilled with this result and cannot wait to see what the future holds for this superstar.
Results: Hawera 25/3
A massive run home today for Shadow Ruler in the first at Hawera, flying home to secure 2nd. Exactly what we want to see on debut. Definitely one to watch for the next start.
Ain't It Fun follows suit, a clever run from Chris Dell to run from last on the turn to finish second.

Avondale Cup Winner
History was made as Final Return delivered a masterclass performance to claim victory in the prestigious Group 2 Avondale Cup. Under a brilliant ride, he showed immense heart and that trademark "Millar Racing" grit to pull away from a high-quality field in the closing stages.
