Charley's big adventure
Last weekend the horseys said goodbye to one of their mummy’s as Charley heads off overseas to the legendary Aidan O’Brien in Ireland for two months to gain some amazing experience. We are all so proud of her for taking up such an incredible opportunity, what an exciting adventure ahead!
Skattebo triumphs in Whanganui!
The best part of the job is watching their journey. Being the last Nadeem and the third generation to have trained, we’ve been incredibly lucky to watch Skattebo (Pickles) take his first breath, and now celebrate his first win.
Special Sakura shines at G1 level!
What a performance! Our special young filly showed a massive amount of heart yesterday in the NZ Thoroughbred Breeders' Stakes to secure an incredibly impressive 2nd place in her very first G1 appearance.
She is truly living up to her name! A massive congratulations to all of her connections. We are absolutely thrilled with this result and cannot wait to see what the future holds for this superstar.

Avondale Cup Winner
History was made as Final Return delivered a masterclass performance to claim victory in the prestigious Group 2 Avondale Cup. Under a brilliant ride, he showed immense heart and that trademark "Millar Racing" grit to pull away from a high-quality field in the closing stages. This win is a testament to the dedication of Janelle and the entire Taranaki team, as well as the patience of our wonderful group of owners. To see a stable favorite reach the pinnacle of New Zealand stayers' racing is what it’s all about.
